Your First Day at School

We want you to feel at home at Castle School from the moment you arrive!

Language Placement Test

On your first day at school, you will have a language placement test. The placement test consists of a Grammar, Speaking and Writing test and based on these results, we place you in the best class for your level. At the end of the testing session you will receive a timetable with details of the class, level, teacher and classroom. A member of the academic team leads this testing session and is always happy to answer any questions you may have before going to your first class.

If you feel that the level of the class may not be right, there is no need to worry! Our Directors of Studies is available all day Monday - Friday to help with any questions about the classes, teachers, level or course materials. Also, our friendly administration staff at Reception are always available to help with any questions you may have.

Books & Materials

General English Morning Classes

We have 7 levels of General English morning classes, ranging from Elementary to Advanced and each level has a dedicated course book. Books can be obtained from Reception.

Exam Classes

Students in an IELTS or Cambridge Exam class will be issued with the prescribed course book. These books can all be obtained from Reception. Our teachers are always happy to recommend additional practice books if you would like to invest in more materials.
