Mini Group

The University Preparation Course is ideal for students planning to study at a British or international university. The course combines General English with intensive Mini Group sessions (Max 8 students), which take place twice a week. Students receive the benefit of participating in General English group classes, building their communication skills, as well as receiving tailored tuition from an experienced teacher in their Mini Group classes.

The Mini Group classes include a complete 'Needs Analysis' and a programme of work, agreed on by the teacher and the students, so that study aims can be achieved within a realistic timeframe. The focus of these classes varies depending on the needs of the students.

Typical areas may be:

  • Targeting weaknesses in the English Language
  • Skills work, consolidation from General English classes
  • Academic writing
  • University application process assistance
  • General preparation for life at university
